3. Why We Collect Your Information (Purpose)

Your personal information is collected solely for the following purposes:

To notify you when My Worship Rewards launches
To set up your account when the platform becomes available
To send you service-related communications
If you have opted in: to send you marketing and launch updates
To demonstrate user interest to potential investors (aggregated, anonymised data only)

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal information on the basis of your explicit, informed consent given at the time of registration. You may withdraw your consent at any time (see Section 7).

Your personal information is stored securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure, hosted in a South African or European AWS region. Security measures include:

Encryption at rest (AES-256) on all database storage
Encrypted transmission via HTTPS/TLS on all connections
Strict access controls — only authorised administrators can access personal data
No storage on personal devices or local systems

6. Sharing Your Information

We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own commercial purposes.

We may share limited information with:

AWS (cloud infrastructure provider) — as a data processor under a data processing agreement
Potential investors — aggregated, anonymised statistics only (e.g., total signup counts by region). No individual personal data will be shared.
Law enforcement — only if required by law or court order

7. Your Rights Under POPIA

You have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you
Correct any inaccurate or incomplete information
Delete your personal information ("right to be forgotten")
Object to or restrict the processing of your information

8. Retention Period

We will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or until you request deletion — whichever comes first. If the My Worship Rewards service does not launch within 3 years of your registration, we will delete all personal data and notify you by email.

9. Marketing Communications

We will only send marketing emails if you have explicitly opted in at registration. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting info@worshiprewards.com.

10. Cookies

This website does not currently use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. Basic session data may be processed by our hosting infrastructure (AWS CloudFront) for security and performance purposes.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your personal information, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa:
